Greg Giraldo Killed by Overdose!

Five days after he was hospitalized for an overdose, Greg Giraldo died. He was 44-year-old.

Last weekend, the actor was hospitalized in New Brunswick, NJ after he overdosed on prescription pills. It looks like the overdose the actor took was accidental and he didn't want to take his own life.
"Greg passed away today at the hospital in New Brunswick as a result of an accidental overdose. His family was by his side", a source close to the actor told TMZ.com.
Giraldo was best known as a judge on 'Last Comic Standing'.
"The world lost a great comedian, I lost a teammate. The dais won't be the same without him. I hope he's roasting God real soon", said friend and fellow comedian Jeff Ross who did 'Comedy Central' roasts with Giraldo.

The Paris spring 2011 collections opened with Dries Van Noten showing en plein air alongside the Seine with the gentle breeze giving life to his orchid-print chiffons and long white shirts. Two inspirations were cited: Chinese ceramics and Belgian painter Jef Verheyen. Fabulous tuxes, sheer ponchos and holographic bombers here, too.

Florals also sprouted at Rochas, along with pastel storybook prints. There was a mood in Milan that was reminiscent of the ?70s by way of the ?40s, and that feeling continues here. Think long, narrow-waisted dresses and full skirts, even an Herm�s-y scarf print cardigan or two.

Gareth Pugh?s angular cuts were shown in a video, prompting Suzy Menkes to question whether fashion shows are necessary. What?and miss all the fun of scrounging for show tickets, lining up in the rain, and trudging through the Metro in YSL heels?

Seth Rogen finally popped the question on his longtime girlfriend Lauren Miller.

According to Life and Style, 28-year-old 'The Green Hornet' actor proposed on Miller last week after returning home from a trip visiting family in Boston. "Her family adores him; everyone is thrilled to plan a wedding", a friend of Rogen's told Life & Style.
"He surprised her with the proposal. She'd started giving up hope that he would ever pop the question", the source added.
"I have a girlfriend who is far prettier than I should have", the former 'Freaks and Geeks' actor once said about Lauren.
The couple started dating in 2004.

Yoko Ono Supports John Lennon 'Nowhere Boy' Biopic!

Yoko Ono is always very selective when it comes to agree with projects involving husband John Lennon and the Beatles memoir.

She only approved 'The Beatles: Rock Band' video game in 2009. But she disapproved a Purple Magazine photo of her son, Sean Lennon, imitating the famous Yoko and John cover of Rolling Stone. She described the photo as "a farce and a spoof".
But Yoko Ono said yes to a John Lennon biopic. The movie called 'Nowhere Boy' talks about the troubled youth of a pre-Beatles Lennon. The film will be directed by Sam Taylor-Wood, while John Lennon will be played by 20-year-old Aaron Johnson.
"I'm so glad you guys are here to watch this film. The first time I saw this film, I was choked up. It's an incredibly, incredibly real film. That's what I like about it; [Sam] is telling the truth", Yoko said.

So a former bodyguard of the pop star says he might be the natural father of Blanket, Jackson's little boy.

Matthew Fiddes claims he donated sperm to Michael Jackson in 2001. The bodyguard says he's not 100% sure that hes the father, but some friends have told him they see a resemblance between Blanket and himself as a child. Blanket was born in 2002.
Matthew Fiddes even offered his photo as a child as a proof.

Lucas, it?s been great watching your friends achieve their dreams over the past seven seasons ? but watching their dreams fall apart is a bummer. It?s like, hey, Nathan (James Lafferty) made it to the NBA? but now his back is degenerating. And, hey, Brooke (Sophia Bush) started a multi-billion dollar clothing company? but now her mom?s going to prison for fraud AND she can?t have a baby with man she loves. Double whammy!�I think I?m finally understanding why you and Peyton (Hilarie Burton)�took off when you did. Life in Tree Hill kind of sucks.

Life is, of course, not terrific for Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) who just got out of her coma, and her boyfriend Clay (Robert Buckley) who spent 95 percent of the episode in literal, ACTUAL Purgatory before finally waking up and kissing his lady.

Jamie?s (Jackson Brundage)�life is kind of crappy too. At just 7-ish years of age, he?s already been kidnapped, nearly drowned AND chased through a cornfield by a murderous psycho nanny. Considering three people very close to him have been shot AND his grandfather is a convicted murderer, I?m really surprised he turned out so normal.

In fact, the only person in Tree Hill who isn?t trapped in some sort of metaphorical Purgatory is Mouth (Lee Norris). He gets to sleep with Millicent (Lisa Goldstein) who is way hotter than someone who would realistically date him. Also, none of the major tragedies have directly affected him since the school shooting. That?s almost five years strong.

Anyway, Lucas, my final thought ? it?s really obvious they want you back on this show. I mean, Haley (Bethany Joy Gaelotti) has started all three episodes this season by writing you a letter. They?re either begging for a return, or Haley?s just collecting material for her next album, Letters to Lucas. (Remember I predicted that, by the way. It?s so something this show would do!)

Uncooperative Dr. Arnold Klein Gets Visit From Coroner

Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter personally went to Dr. Arnold Klein?s office to get Michael Jackson?s medical records this afternoon, TMZ reports.
He went to the office because Dr. Klein was not fully cooperating with the L.A. Coroner?s office request for documents pertaining to Klein?s treatment of Jackson.
On July 2, Winter?s office contacted the office of Dr. Klein and subpoenaed the medical records of Michael Jackson. At that time, Klein?s lawyer sent partial records and then promised he would send the rest later, but never did.
Winter?s office then called Dr. Arnold Klein?s rep to say they still hadn?t received the documents but Klein never responded. Thus the personal trip today.
According to Winter, a lawyer for Klein was in the office while another was on the telephone. The lawyers promised to hand over the files in 24 hours.
Law enforcement is investigating Dr. Klein?s prescription practices as they relate to Michael Jackson ? including prescribing him medication using aliases.
If he is found to have withheld, altered or destroyed medical records of the singer, it could lead to additional scrutiny of the well-known dermatologist.
There have also been reports that Klein is the biological father of Michael?s kids Paris and Prince. He denies that he is ? to the best of his knowledge.

Many children in our country look up to today?s celebrities, even though many of them are not fit to be role models. Celebrity gossip is easy to get your hands on with the internet being as powerful and popular as ever. Celebrities often do outrageous things in the public eye and this could heavily influence children that look up to them. Celebrity gossip about these famous actors, actress, and musicians don?t help either. There is a lot of gossip that our youth can get their hands on, and for some of them to see the way some celebrities behave can be quite damaging. Teaching children what?s right and wrong from an early age can and will help them develop into sensible adults, but celebrities are often revered among the youth of our nation. Celebrities are seen as cool and everything they do is fine because of who they are. Celebrities can get away with a lot of things that normal people can not, and children do not necessarily realize that. Gossip written about these celebrities can be taken literally when be read by children. Imitating the behavior of these celebrities happens more often than you think, especially among children in grammar school. It is important to monitor what kids are watching and reading when they go online. Try and understand what your kids are talking about to friends and maybe you can set it right before it becomes an issues.
? Celebrity gossip shows like TMZ or Access Hollywood show all the flaws of today?s celebrities. They also display some of these celebrities outlandish behavior like being drunk when leaving clubs or bars. Exposing themselves in public and talking down to other people is something that is always captured on camera by the paparazzi.
? Gossip is fun for adults to keep track of, because for the most part , adults know how to be sensible and not make fools of themselves in public. Children are far more susceptible to being influenced.
? Celebrity gossip is all over the place unfortunately, and has become more important than real issues like our economic crisis and the wars being fought abroad.
? Children that idolized this sort of behavior are more likely to grow
up not caring about many important political issues at all. Gossip is more important to many young adults than voting in the Presidential election and that?s a shame.
Today?s headlines can be primarily about what is going on in the life of famous athletes and their problems off the field rather than the energy crisis or the work force continuing to get thinner and thinner. Real issues have taken the back seat to celebrity gossip and that is just the sad truth of today?s society. Many celebrities are grossly over paid. Athletes should not be more valued in society than doctors or nurses. There just isn?t the right balance, and something needs to be done to correct it.

The Bed Intruder Song has now made Antoine Dodson so much money that he's been able to move his entire family into a safer home.
Here's what Dodson had to say about the new house:
"We found a house! [We are so] excited ? It's for my whole family. And these are new houses that have just been built."
Dodson has also decided to use his newfound money to go back to school:

Brian Austin Green: Megan Fox Has Boosted "My Confidence"

Megan Fox is one hot -- and capable! -- stepmom.
Fox's husband Brian Austin Green has high praise indeed for her devotion to Kassius, his 8-year-old son with ex Vanessa Marcil.
"[Megan] is absolutely my better half in parenting," Green, 37, says of Fox, 24, in the October issue of Details. "She just gets it. It's instinctual for her."

Kassius was reportedly one of the few attendees at the couple's hush-hush wedding in Hawaii this past June. Fox called herself "really maternal" in the March issue of W magazine, and shares a home with Green and the little boy.
The actors began dating about six years ago -- when Fox was just 18, and he was 31. "When we met, I had just separated from Kash's mom and a relationship was the last thing on my mind, " Green tells the magazine. "It's not something I ever thought would be serious. But she brought out parts of me that I had lost in my last relationship. I had come off of 90210, and I never wanted to leave my house. I was afraid of the press. I was afraid of people's opinions of me," he confides. "Megan was a big part of boosting my confidence. And at the same time, I was somebody responsible and grounded for her to be around. We just matched."

And despite her then-tender age, Fox "stepped in and took control," Green marvels. "It's unbelievable. At 18, I was like, 'Hey, which club is open tonight? And how cool do my pants look? Can I sneak a drink across the bar without getting caught?'"
The actors dated for about six years before tying the knot, and Green shoots down talk that the relationship was on again/off again, or that they ever saw other people during that time.

"We've been together for six years," Green says. "Find a picture of one of us with any other boyfriend or girlfriend? I challenge you. You'll only find pictures of her doing press with Shia LaBeouf or me with my son. That's it. We never once dated anyone else or did anything else."
Green -- who next stars as a hunky, shirtless contractor on the new season of Desperate Housewives -- also tells Details that he's fine with his wife's worldwide fame, which has easily eclipsed his own.

"I know the normal male thing is the man works and is successful and brings home the paycheck. I don't know who the hell set it up, but it?s what people expect," he quips.
"I just don't care. F**k, next year I could book some crazy movie that blows up and things could shift completely. And I guarantee you at that point she?ll say, F**k, thank God. You go do all that shit now. I'm sick of it."

A new war of words has begun between Jon and Kate Gosselin.
During a Friday appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly, Kate, 35, told Kelly Ripa and guest host Anderson Cooper that tensions remain between her and her ex-husband, 32.
"It's...you know," she said. "I do try to keep it as peaceful as possible." The level of tension "depends on the day."

The biggest issue, Kate claimed, is the time their eight kids spend at their dad's nearby apartment.
During those visits, Kate said, "I basically wait for the phone call from how many of them want to come home."
Jon's residence, she explained, "is not [their] home; it doesn't feel like home to them ... they want to be at home -- in their house" in Wernersville, Penn.

She pointed out that the latest visitation schedule (part of their custody arrangement) is still "new to us. It's only been three months that he's actually been spending time with them and taking them."

Jane Fonda isn't opposed to turning back the hands of time.
The Oscar-winning actress, 72, is opening up for the very first time about her decision to go under the knife.

"I recently had plastic surgery. It was a hard decision to make, and I decided if I'm going to do it, I'm going to tell the truth," Fonda tells Entertainment Tonight. "I'm writing a book about aging, so I can't write that book and not say I've had plastic surgery. And you know, I just decided it was for me -- I don't want to have bags under my eyes that make me look tired, and so forth and so on."

Fonda -- who launched a series of successful fitness videos in the '80s -- says she's always paid special attention to her appearance.
"I have, in my life, been obsessive about exercise, about most everything. But one of the good things that happens when you get older is everything comes into perspective," she says. "I have a new hip, I have a new knee, and I'm going to soon be be bionic. If I don't stay active my body stops functioning."

America's Got Talent's Tween Ballroom Star: Justin Bieber Added Me on Facebook!

Forget earning America's vote in this week's America's Got Talent semifinals: competitors like Fighting Gravity and champion ballroom dancers Anna Kaczmarski and Patryk Ploszay have already earned the A-list vote.
"Last month Lil Wayne put us on his Web site and Kayne [West] put us on his blog," Fighting Gravity's Travis Dalrymple tells UsMagazine.com.
As the contestant pool narrows, Dalrymple and his fellow performance artists Danny Kang and Gregg Curtin, are feeling the pressure to pull out all the stops.

"We're kind of overwhelmed right now -- it's an emotional roller coaster. We are under a tremendous amount of pressure to put the next routine together in a week when we usually have about three or four weeks in between shows," Kang says.
Also feeling the heat -- literally! -- are tween ballroom dancers Kaczmarski and Ploszay.

"[Judge] Piers [Morgan] gave us advice -- he told us to use fire and firecrackers," Kaczmarksi, 12, tells Us.
While getting advice from the judges is nice, perhaps the pair's biggest surprise came courtesy of one of their peers.
"Justin Bieber added me on Facebook!" Ploszay gushes. "A lot of fans have emailed us -- it's pretty cool."

The 10 semifinalists of America's Got Talent will compete for a spot in the show's final round and a chance at the $1 million prize Tuesday at 9 p.m./ET on NBC.

Eminem Wins Royalty Lawsuit

Eminem's gonna get paid!
A federal appeals court has found that Eminem's former production company F.B.T Productions LLC is entitled to royalties by Universal Music Group (UMG) for music downloaded over iTunes or sold as cellphone ringtones.
Last year, a federal jury ruled against F.B.T., however, the appeals court ruled on Friday that the contracts between UMG and F.B.T. "unambiguously applies to permanent downloads and master-tones," which entitles Eminem and his producers to a 50-50 split for recordings licensed to iTunes and other digital distributors.
This ruling could potentially affect how record labels and artists make financial deals in the future. Very inneresting!

Kate Hudson is finally musing out loud about Muse singer Matt Bellamy, her beau of a few months.
"He's lovely," Hudson, 31, says of Bellamy, 32, in the new issue of Elle UK. But she's not a hardcore Muse fan just yet, she admits. "My favorite Muse song? Ha ha ha! I'm not well-versed enough on that," she tells the mag. "I'm getting there, though. Matt and I are just learning about each other and it's wonderful."

But the ex-wife of rocker Chris Robinson -- other former lovers include Alex Rodriguez, Owen Wilson and Lance Armstrong -- isn't feeling the marital vibe just yet.
Marriage is "definitely not something I'm looking for," she says. "But the divorce doesn't put me off. I'll just see what happens. I think a lot of times people are terrified of love and stop themselves from experiencing it. I don't ever want to get that jaded. I do believe in love."

Hudson and Bellamy stepped out together in June. A month later, Bellamy told Britain's Daily Mirror that he was meeting Hudson's parents (mom Goldie Hawn and stepdad Kurt Russell).
"Things are going great at the moment. I am very happy," Bellamy told the paper. "It's a little bit too soon to talk about weddings and stuff. Ask me again in a few months, though. I'll let you know how it went with Goldie ? and then who knows?"

Kelly Bensimon to Departing Housewife Bethenny Frankel: Good Luck!

On Tuesday afternoon, UsMagazine.com broke the news that Bethenny Frankel is leaving Real Housewives of New York after three seasons. ("Last season was scary and painful," Frankel told Us exclusively.)
Hours later, the big announcement still hadn't reached her onscreen foe Kelly Bensimon.

"I didn't know she was staying or leaving," Bensimon told Us at Tuesday night's "Remixology" Bartender's Challenge Finals hosted by Appleton Estate Reserve at NYC's Macao Trading Co.
Bensimon -- who constantly traded insults with Frankel on the show -- then offered her thoughts on the departure. "Congratulations? I wish you well?"

The single mother of two daughters also addressed rumors about her own status with Bravo's hit; one report claims that Bensimon, 42, would appear "part-time" on the show's fourth season.
"I was just asked to come back and we haven't negotiated everything yet," she clarified. "But I can answer honestly I would either come back or I wouldn't come back -- we don't do part-time."

Of her decision to leave, Frankel, 39, told Us that the nonstop sparring with both Bensimon and former best friend Jill Zarin "took all the joy" out of filming the show. A new mom to daughter Bryn, 3 months, with hubby Jason Hoppy, she said she doesn't "see any reason to go back."
